Bridgeman Education is a subscription service giving universities, colleges and schools access to over 380,000 art images.
Richard Butterworth Digital Media Design developed and maintains the site. It is implemented using the .NET framework, MS SQL Server and Adobe Flash. It features various ways of searching and browsing the image database, the ability to create, edit, save and view slideshows, specialised learning resources, a web service interface, and a complete back end content and client management system. The Bridgeman Education service can also be accessed with an iPhone app that allows searching and viewing images, and access to the users' slideshows.
